imafarmgirl@livejournal.com BioThis is the place that I write my unsensored thoughts. I write about all the beautiful people that live on Mother Earth. I write bluntly about environmentalism, agricultural practices, politics, religion, disability rights, issues facing Native people, animal training, and much more. I consider spirituality a large part of my life. I am not Christian and if that offends you, please leave now. I write openly about Native American issues and the Native way of life usually known as, "The Red Road." I identify as Mohawk and Onondaga, firstly, and secondarily as white due to my Italian and German ancesstry.
I am blind due to septo optic dysplasia/optic nerve hypoplasia. I have a black Lab guide dog named Fargo and a retired guide, yellow Lab, Ricky and they are common topics here. In October of 2006 I had brain surgery (microvascular decompression) to correct a condition known as trigeminal neuralgia which caused severe chronic pain, in my face, for five years.
It is rude to snoop or spy so if you're reading please drop a note and say hello. Feel free to friend me after dropping me a note. Some of my posts are public, however most are friends locked. You don't have to agree with what I say but I ask that you show respect for my thoughts, my feelings, and my way of life. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on life as well.
